We’re excited to be a Platinum Sponsor at CHFA East 2019 from September 12-15. The Toronto Metro Convention Centre will be home to Canada’s largest conference and trade show dedicated to natural health, specialty, and organic products. CHFA East hosts over 1000 retailers, suppliers, and leaders from the NHP industry.
Stop by the dicentra booth #812 to speak to our team of regulatory consultants to discuss how we can help you bring your product to the next level and grow your business. Bring your questions about cannabis health products, NHPs and the self-care framework, food safety, and labeling requirements and we’d be happy to share our expertise to ensure you stay compliant.
dicentra is a longstanding and loyal member of CHFA and we’re looking forward to meeting fellow industry professionals and learning from leading experts. We’re especially excited to be sponsoring the following sessions:
Regulatory Forum from 12:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Representatives from Health Canada (Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate and Health Products Compliance Directorate) have been invited to provide an educational session on product manufacturing compliance in the NHP sector.
Learn how standardization is used in government regulation and how Canadian industries can help shape standards and define market access in Canada and around the world. This session will also provide an update on how standardization may impact the natural health and organic sector and will provide information on the creation of new standards for emerging sectors, such as the cannabis sector.
Join in the discussion about cannabidiol (CBD) and self-care products framework and other important initiatives to the natural health and organic foods sector.
As the framework surrounding cannabis and CBD continues to evolve, many companies are still trying to navigate how CBD fits the current regulations. Learn more about how CBD continues to change.
Given Health Canada’s consultation on the potential market for cannabis health products and the timely opportunity to influence the regulation of cannabidiol (CBD) health products in the Canadian market, this session will focus on what needs to be considered, and what gaps need to be filled, in order to create a regulatory pathway for CBD to be used in health products.
On Friday, eight suppliers will showcase their new products in the CHFA Launch Pad competition, pitching their products to a panel of judges in “Dragons’ Den” style. The contest, sponsored by dicentra, will judge products on innovation, creativity, and value-add to the market. The contest winner will receive a prize package valued at $30,000. The first 50 retailers in attendance will receive a gift bag that includes samples of the products being presented. As a proud member of the CHFA, dicentra supports fostering the evolving trends of the consumer market and showcasing new and original products.
