Step 2: Screening Interview

The screening interview is our first interaction with applicants. If you possess the qualifications we seek, we’ll contact you via email to schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting or through the phone number you provided on your application. This interview verifies your relevant experience and skills for the role. Remember, it’s also an opportunity for you to learn about us and our company culture.

Potential questions:

  • Tell us about yourself.
  • Why are you job hunting?
  • What motivated you to apply for this role?
  • Detail your skills and career journey.
  • Why do you consider yourself the ideal candidate?
  • Share your salary expectations, availability to start, and for a follow-up interview.

We will never ask for:

  • Your social insurance / social security number
  • Your banking information

Step 3: Interview with Hiring Team

The in-person/virtual interview lets you connect with the hiring manager or team. It’s behavioral in nature and helps us assess fit.

Possible questions:

  • How do you perform under pressure? Provide work examples.
  • Describe your project prioritization.
  • Share a time you failed to achieve desired results and how you overcame it.
  • Discuss your career goals.
  • A skills assessment might be requested.

We will never ask for:

  • Your social insurance / social security number
  • Your banking information

Step 4: Job Offer and Onboarding

When we’re ready to make you an offer, we’ll communicate that intent through phone (1-416-361-3400 / TF: 1-866-647-3279) or @dicentra.com email, and will request references and proof of credentials. Following this, we’ll inform you to expect a formal offer (on official dicentra letterhead) for your signature through our secure eSignature platform PandaDocs, signed by either dicentra’s CEO or one of its Partners. Should you choose to accept, we’ll provide you with onboarding details and next steps.
