Infant Foods and Formulas are strictly regulated in Canada and require a 90 day notification to Health Canada prior to any marketing activities. Notifications require detailed information on the composition of the product and its nutrient values, how it will be labeled and marketed, and detailed information on quality control procedures, manufacturing processes and ongoing testing practices.
