On September 28, 2018 the NNHPD finalized their Multi-Vitamin/Mineral Supplements Monograph, which has resulted in a major shift in the removal of many claims. This was not anticipated as per the previously released draft in 2016.It is the responsibility of licence holders to update their NHP product licences and labels if they have attested to any of the claims that were removed. On the bright side, a few new ones have been introduced which, however, are not too far from already existing claims.
Reach out to dicentra to have your NHP Product Licences assessed against this new updated Multi-Vitamin/Mineral Supplements Monograph, and bring your label and license into compliance.
