Position: Sales Support Associate

Description:

As the Sales Support Associate at dicentra, you will have the exciting opportunity to be dicentra’s first “point of contact” for the divisions you support. This role will provide excellent exposure to multiple divisions which will allow for career growth internally as you grow and expand your knowledge. You will be responsible for handling all leads for dicentra’s online training program as well for our sister company Vitarock’s Corporate Partnership Program. To be successful, you will need to leverage strong administrative skills and sales acumen. You will report to the VP of Growth, Sales, and Marketing but will work daily with the Sales Associate and Vitarock General Manager in a supportive capacity. A major component of the role will be to successfully qualify leads through the discovery process and booking meetings for the Sales Associate and Vitarock’s GM. You will be assisting with the follow-up process to keep leads engaged as they move through the sales funnel. As you build confidence in the role and experience communicating with these prospects, this role will enable you to offer your insight to the business development and marketing teams to drive increases in qualified leads and booked meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the “first point of contact” via incoming calls and website leads
  • Perform targeted proactive outreach for prospective companies that may be a fit
  • Assist with scheduling, following up on leads, and keeping leads engaged
  • Receive, track and update incoming leads by phone and email for online training, document client interactions, create opportunities in Salesforce as they move through the sales funnel
  • Assist the Sales Associate in researching accounts and identifying key decision-makers for building a leads database
  • Meet set targets for online training and Vitarock through a combination of inbound leads and cold-calling
  • Document client interactions meticulously to make sure leads are followed up appropriately
  • Call on campaigns designed to generate leads for Vitarock and online training, convert these leads into meetings with qualified prospects
  • Successfully refer business to the appropriate division through proper discovery
  • Gather business development insight to drive increased sales

Qualifications:

  • Must have some post-secondary education in any discipline, but preference will be given in the life sciences, business, marketing or sales (or equivalent work experience in lieu of this)
  • General office administrative support experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to clearly and effectively communicate business value to prospect
  • Proficiency using Salesforce or Equivalent CRM
  • 1-2 years of previous sales experience, meeting specifically meeting/exceeding sales targets and booking meetings for sales associates and/or account executives
  • Previous experience with cold-calling is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Fearless attitude towards building rapport and dialing prospects
  • Proven ability in prioritization and task management
  • Highly organized, task-oriented, self-motivated, and can produce results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to leverage client database to create lists, and converting these lists to sales campaigns
  • Must have an interest in purpose-driven/impact businesses, B Corporation, and corporate sustainability in order to sell with passion and integrity
