  • Participates in HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Oversees full-cycle recruitment, selection, and onboarding process.

  • Coordinates payroll with the accounting department.

  • Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

  • Nurtures a positive working environment by focusing on areas like corporate culture and social engagement initiatives.

  • Oversees a performance evaluation and reporting system that drives excellent performance.

  • Coordinates work of Health and Safety committee.

  • Maintains and optimizes the company benefits program to ensure its competitiveness and relevance for team member attraction, retention, and engagement.

  • Manages a competitive salary that rewards high performers and challenges all to achieve.

  • Continually assesses training needs to implement and evaluate training programs.

  • Reports to management regularly and provides decision support through HR analytics and metrics.


  • University and/or college education, preferably in a discipline related to human resources.

  • 5+ years of HR experience.

  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation, HR and employee relations best practices, conducting investigations and other HR disciplines, and industry-related platforms.

  • Knowledge of Ceridian Powerpay is an asset.

  • Great communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Above-average interpersonal and relationship skills.

Job Type: Full-time.  

Location: Toronto, ON office.
